About this tour
A full day among the Barossa's heritage shiraz producers, with private cellar-door tastings and a long lunch at a working vineyard restaurant.
The Barossa Valley is one of the world's great old-vine shiraz regions, and a private trail means access to smaller, family-run cellar doors rather than the large commercial tasting rooms most coach tours default to.
We build the day around genuine winemaker access where possible, a proper sit-down lunch rather than a quick platter, and enough time at each stop that it never feels rushed.
Tour highlights

- Long lunch at a working vineyard restaurant

Frequently asked questions
Absolutely -- the Barossa also has excellent food, cheese, and produce, and non-tasting guests are very welcome; we simply adjust the day's balance.
Yes, most cellar doors offer international shipping, and we can help coordinate this so it doesn't interrupt your itinerary.
Fully private -- your own vehicle and driver for the day, with cellar door visits selected around your preferences (bold reds, cooler-climate whites, etc).
About an hour's drive each way -- comfortable as a day trip, though some guests prefer an overnight stay at a vineyard property, which we can also arrange.
