Bringing together some of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in Australia & boasting the World’s largest display of Australian reptiles, Crocosaurus Cove is a must see attraction when visiting Darwin and the Top End.

Bring your bathers and Swim with the Crocs, jump on our Fishing for Crocs platform and smile for the camera while holding a baby Saltwater Crocodile. Check out the Barramundi, Archer Fish & Whiprays in our 200,000 litre fresh water aquarium and visit our turtles in our Top End Turtle Billabong.

All of this and more awaits you at Darwin’s ultimate urban wildlife experience…right in the heart of Mitchell Street, Darwin City.

FAQs

Can children do the Cage of Death.
Minimum age of participants is 15 years. ID is required for proof of age. Persons between 15-17 years must be accompanied by an adult or person over 18 years of age. Participants must arrive 20 minutes prior to the confirmed dive time for safety briefing. Participants will be required to sign an indemnity release form from Crocosaurus Cove prior to the dive time. Participants between 15-17 year of age must have parental consent and indemnity signed by a parent.
Do I need to pre-book the Cage of Death?
To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking the Cage of Death prior to your arrival to Darwin. Especially during the peak season of May-August, all Cage spaces can be fully booked 3-5 days in advance.
Are there changing rooms or lockers?
There are showers and changing rooms on the 1st level of Crocosaurus Cove. Cage of Death participants can leave their belongings in the locker beside the Cage Dive. Please ask the Crocodile team for further inspections when inside the park.
Can I hold a crocodile or other reptiles?
Absolutely! Crocosaurus Cove is about providing an educational & entertaining introduction to some of the Top Ends cutest critters. You can hold a baby crocodile from 9.30am – 6pm every day. How big are the Crocodiles at Crocosaurus Cove?
Crocosaurus Cove have the 2nd and 3rd largest crocs in captivity in Australia. Both Wendell and Chopper measure around 5.5m. When they are this big, we’re not going to argue about a centimeter, however the honor does go to Wendell by a scale.
